Taking walks where leaves fall with pain long past.
Litter from pain still current line the asphalt.
Sidewalks cracked with pain brand-new.
Residences once shiny and new,
Now stand empty,
Dilapidated and battered.
Betrayal and anger long ago destroyed the pretty avenue.
Still today the razing continues with each new slice of Imagination's Dagger
Wielded by unsympathetic, oft well-meaning, oft hate-mongering,
Strangers and loved ones alike.
